I'm a long time GoG (Guardian's of Goodwill - different kinship on the Meneldor server that I hope we can partner with) member from when the GoG was on Asheron's Call. I played AC for about a year or so, then put away MMORPG's for the most part. I tried EQ, playing that for a short time but was never really enjoying that game. I was introduced to LotRO about a year ago now and have really enjoyed the game. As you can see on my signature, I have tried several character types, but my favorite is still the Hunter.

IRL I'm a mechanical engineer working on aircraft structural modifications. Riskin and I met about 5 years ago in a Biology II class in which we had a great time giving the professor a hard time. I enjoy cycling and generally being outdoors. My wife and I spend our time watching our 2 year old daughter who brings us the greatest joy I've ever known. But, when she goes to sleep, and my wife also goes to sleep, I usually escape to Middle-Earth for a bit of fun and questing with Riskin or just solo.

I started gaming early in life, beginning with the Atari and enjoying games like PacMan and Adventure. My first RPG game was Bard's Tale (I, II, and III) on the Commodore 64! What an excellent game and I was hooked on RPG games on the computer. As stated above, I have only played a few MMORPG's but LotRO, so far, has been the best game I've played.
